I am a nationally ranked triathlete and have been struggling for years with my back, and hips.  YEARS.  I have had a lot of orthotics over the years and these are the only type of correction that teaches my brain how to change my posture.  They are very distinguishable and truly genius.  Thank goodness I found them.  Kristina Wagner, Tucson, AZ

I have struggled with custom orthotics for cavus foot the last two years, fighting injuries like plantar fasciitis (I was on crutches).  I read about your insoles about 3 weeks before my first marathon, the Las Vegas Marathon on December 2, 2007. I decided to junk the orthotics and run the race in your insoles, because wearing them around in street shoes just felt right.  This is pretty scary, as orthotics wearers know. I just felt that my "pronation" issues might have been caused by Morton's Foot rather than a lack of arch support. So I ran Las Vegas in your insoles, covered by the factory insole out of the shoebox-and at age 53 qualified for Boston in my first marathon. The bottom line is that your insoles worked beautifully for me. Thanks!   Jim Barkeley, Anchorage, Alaska

bbk..if that's the case for you, how are you able to continue running and continue to get good mileage? ...you can probably tell by some of my posts that I'm getting pretty desperate.

Well, I picked up a book called Trigger Point therapy, to try to help my PF some time ago. It was in this book that I learned about Morton's Foot. There is an easy to do test to tell if you have it. They suggest adding some padding under the first metatarsal to allieviate the symptoms. I didn't much care for the solution they offered. When you run, you can smash padding down pretty fast. So, I did more research on the Internet about Morton's Foot and I ended up getting these very subtle insoles.  Using these has helped me enormously. It took a little time to get used to not having arch supportive orthotics, because I had to strengthen my arches. Now I am doing much much better.
