FAQ

  • What should I expect on the first visit?
    Your first visit will last approximately 75 minutes. Please fill out the initial intake forms sent in your notification email prior to your appointment. The first session will include: Discussing your health history (including any accidents, injuries, surgeries, health issues, etc), a Postural Evaluation, and when applicable Range of Motion and Muscle Testing. This will be followed by Clinical Bodywork / Massage Therapy. Please note that you will remain clothed (athletic clothing) for your sessions. ​ *Subsequent sessions will be 60 minutes.
  • What is your Cancellation Policy?
    Your appointment time has been reserved for your Massage Therapist to focus fully on YOU. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. We do require at least 24 hours notice. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment after this time frame, you are responsible for the FULL payment of that appointment. As a courtesy to other clients, late arrivals will receive only the available appointment time remaining. ​ We appreciate your understanding.
  • What should I wear for my Neuromuscular / NeuroKinetic Massage Therapy session?
    Please wear clean, loose fitting athletic clothing. Shorts and a tank-top or sports bra are best. You will remain clothed throughout the session. Please do not wear any jeans, khaki material, thick materials, or dress clothing. If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email to PainFree@NNCweb.com.
  • Do you accept insurance?
    Nashville Neuromuscular Care does not accept insurance. We do accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) as payment, if your health plan covers our services. We do not require a doctor's referral in order to work with you. Please note: NNC does not diagnose. If you choose to ask your insurance company for reimbursement, it is your responsibility to file any claim, to obtain any diagnosis code from your medical provider and to provide that information to your insurance company. It will be your responsibility to handle any and all communication with your insurance provider.
  • Where should I park?
    Nashville Neuromuscular Care is located in the B2 Wellness Suites, Suite 301. There is a large parking lot and an elevator. Please wait in the waiting room until your therapist comes to get you.
  • What types of payment do you accept?
    For First Time Clients, full payment of $160 is due at the time of booking. For Returning Clients, full payment is due at the time of service. Returning client sessions are $135/hr for Clinical Bodywork. Nashville Neuromuscular Care maintains a No-Tipping policy. We are a results-based practice, and do not require nor expect gratuities. We much prefer that you spread the word and refer us to your friends and family, or write a positive review on Google. ​ To reserve your appointment online, we require a major credit card. Your card will not be charged until the time of appointment unless this is your first visit. For returning clients, you may choose to use another method of payment at that time. We accept: Check, Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, AmEx, and HSA or FSA payment accounts.
  • Are gift cards available for purchase?
    Yes, you can purchase gift cards here.
  • Do you offer Deep Tissue Massage Therapy?
    No, the sessions NNC offers are not deep tissue massage therapy.
